Mission

Vision To ensure that all children have the opportunity to improve themselves and their communities through organized sports.

Mission •  Identify children in need
•  Provide assistance for participating in sports programs
•  Set and promote examples of excellence, as exemplified by Jeremy Glick, that help children to realize the "hero within."

Purpose To provide financial support and assistance to school-age children to encourage their ability to participate and succeed in athletics. In return the athletes will demonstrate a commitment to their community through their sports.

Background The organization's name sake, Jeremy Logan Glick, was one of the courageous passengers aboard United's Flight 93. On September 11, 2001, Jeremy thwarted the terrorists plans and prevented his hijacked plane from striking its intended target in Washington, D.C. — he is truly an American Hero.

Jeremy was sports enthusiast and former Judo National champion. On the morning of September 11th, Jeremy demonstrated many of the skills he obtained through his participation in sports, including teamwork, determination and self confidence. These skills empowered him with the necessary tools to succeed. On that morning Jeremy demonstrated to the world what his family already knew — that he possessed courage, confidence and character. Jeremy always had a hero within.

The Glick family wishes to share Jeremy's Spirit with you. Today's youth are America's future and Jeremy's Heroes will help our children discover their hero within.
